Barry and Gillian    We relocated from Sydney in 1997 with the dream of creating a retreat where people can come and relax in a tranquil private setting. We believe with Rainbows Reach we have found a very special place. We feel as though we have in many ways gone back to basics with our power being derived from solar cells and our water supply being the rain, there is a far closer connection with the earth and our environment. We have been together for twenty + years and have two adult sons, Nathan & Gareth. Our lives like many has been a roller-coaster ride of emotional discovery and growth . At times stretching us to the limit, but never too far that we didn't survive. Thankfully we were able to grow and mature through each experience, even if the growth was loudly vocalized at the time. Our philosophies are derived from many years of training and attending workshops on Personal empowerment, Kinergetics, Reiki, Hypnotherapy, Tantra, Psychic awareness, massage, relationship counseling, meditation, spiritual healing and much more. Barry is trained in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Gillian is a retired trained nurse, psychic, clairvoyant, healer & medium. Within all of the modalities that we have studied we have found a common thread that is carried throughout. In the most part that is the belief in oneself and unconditional love. With these two things you can create the perfect environment for yourself and those around you to grow and learn in. We had spent our married life on the northern beaches, raising the boys. As our lives changed so did we and as such our beliefs also changed. Becoming more aware of our spirituality we felt confined by suburbia. We planned our dream of the perfect property, sent letters to some 20+ real estate agents all up the nth coast, we only got one reply, this was IT. We don't like to limit ourselves too much, you can miss out on so much by doing that. Simply, we try and live as truthfully as we can. We have no religious affiliation, rather believing in the energy in all things. Some may call this God (I prefer the name Cosmo). Taking responsibility for ones-self is imperative, recognizing the energy (god) within us all and using that energy for the Highest Good. Because of our desire to learn we have gained much insight into different healing methods, all valid in their own way. First gaining an understanding of the power of our own spirit then channeled spirit, Reiki, crystals, Kinergetics, chakras, colour, hypnotherapy, massage and so on. We incorporate all this knowledge to practice a healing uniquely our own. Like all people we are learning and growing all the time and feel that sharing and exchanging knowledge with others is an important part of our lives. Our property is mostly natural bush land which gives the real feeling of sharing with nature. From the wallabies that come into the garden early morning and the sugar gliders & possums that come out at night the ever present king parrots, kookaburras, cockatoos and more that enjoy feeding in the gardens and on hot days the goannas that sunbathe in the trees. We honour the aboriginal ancestors that walked these lands in times gone by and welcome people from all walks of life and beliefs. Our only request is that people work with a positive loving intent. We do not support a negative path of hate or fear based beliefs.
